Clouds cleared way to beautiful bluebird skies. The fishing was not nearly as cooperative as the weather. Approximately 50 youth anglers competing for spots in the Forrest L Wood cup in 2009&2010 fished their way through a tough day. My youth angler was able to land a 3.5lb largemouth bass. That 1 fish was good enough for 14th place out of all the other anglers !
The bait of the day was a senko. Bass were found shallow off the banks.
Congrats to all the anglers who participated !
John
