The University of Minnesota defeated North Dakota State 7-5 Saturday night to move into the championshp round of the NCAA softball regional in Seattle.
The Gophers will play host Washington, which beat them 5-2 on Saturday, at 2 p.m. If Minnesota wins, another game will follow for the title.
The winner will advance to a two-of-three game NCAA Super Regional next weekend.
