Sophomore Paige Tapp had a career-high 12 blocks as the Gophers defeated Indiana 25-18, 25-17, 25-17 on Friday in a Big Ten volleyball match at the Sports Pavilion to conclude their regular season.

Now the waiting begins. The 64-team field for the national tournament will be announced at 7:30 p.m. Sunday on ESPNU.

Minnesota (19-12, 9-11), despite its under-.500 conference record, still has an outside chance of making the NCAA tournament because it is No. 49 in the RPI rankings going into this weekend.

The Hoosiers (15-17, 6-14) played their last match.

U women on road

The No. 2-ranked Gophers women's hockey team (12-1-2) will play a two-game series at Princeton (6-4-1) on Saturday and Sunday. Both games start at 1 p.m.

Minnesota is 6-0-1 vs. the Tigers after sweeping them 6-0 and 9-1 at Ridder Arena last season.

Princeton, which has lost three in a row, has four Minnesotans on its roster.

Wrestling powers meet

The No. 1 Gophers wrestling team will host No. 8 Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sports Pavilion. Last December Minnesota won 16-15 in Stillwater, Okla.

The Gophers are 4-0 and have three No. 1-rated wrestlers in Dylan Ness at 157 pounds, Logan Storley at 174 and Scott Schiller at 197; the Cowboys are 2-0 and have one, Alex Dieringer at 165.
