Area men's college basketball: Winona State rallies, overtakes Bemidji St.

• WINONA STATE 70, BEMIDJI STATE 67: Taylor Cameron hit a layup with 29 seconds remaining and Jordan Fischer sank two free throws with 13 seconds left, capping a comeback from an 11-point halftime deficit Friday for the host Warriors (15-3, 8-2 NSIC). Clayton Vette led Winona with 30 points and 10 rebounds.
 
• CONCORDIA (ST. PAUL) 76, MINNESOTA DULUTH 73 (OT): The host Golden Bears (3-12, 1-10) made 22 of 23 free throws and posted their first NSIC victory.
 
• MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 81, ST. CLOUD STATE 75: The Mavericks shot 53.4 percent and won in St. Cloud for the first time in five seasons. Assem Marei had 20 points and 12 rebounds for Mankato (14-1, 10-1 NSIC). Shaun Jensen and Damarius Cruz scored 18 each for the Huskies (12-3, 8-3).
