Sometimes we have grandiose thoughts in the morning that we can't wait to share with all of you.
And sometimes we let moving pictures do the talking.
There really isn't much more to say about this video of Carlos Gomez crushing a home run and admiring it, much to the dismay of the Braves.
We will say this: we can't ever remember a catcher impeding someone from stepping on home plate. We imagine it has happened, but that was new to us.
Gomez, by the way, has cooled off some since his hot start (but is still having a MUCH better year than any Twins outfielder).
