Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. He welcomes suggestions, news tips, links of pure genius, and pictures of pets in Halloween costumes here, though he already knows he will regret that last part.

Josh Howard is officially a Timberwolves player and met with the media earlier today. The moment that will live in franchise infamy -- Minnesota picking Ndudi Ebi ahead of him in the 2003 draft -- apparently also factored into Howard's career. He told reporters today that he still remembers David Stern calling out Ebi's name (at least a version of the name; more on that later) before his and that it has motivated him during his career.
While Ebi is still playing overseas (and doing decently for himself, we should add), let's take a quick trip down memory lane as Stern calls him "Doodie" Ebi. Bonus: Ebi in a backwards Brewers cap!
