Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. He welcomes suggestions, news tips, links of pure genius, and pictures of pets in Halloween costumes here, though he already knows he will regret that last part.

A couple of quick links for you before you head off and enjoy the rest of this perfect Friday:
*Until 5 p.m., the general public can score $10 Gophers vs. New Hampshire tickets. The Gophers' ticket woes are well-documented, particularly when it comes to students. But they are trying new things. And we know Minnesotans love a good bargain.
*Vikings punter Chris Kluwe is, well, being himself again. Check out his latest evisceration at Deadspin (language warning, as usual).
*And don't forget the Dark Star estate sale starts at 9 a.m. tomorrow. We made a video preview of it. We'll probably stop by before the Gophers game tomorrow, so say hi if you are thinking of doing the same.
