We'll make this brief: Twitter was lighting up with positive feedback for former Twins manager Tom Kelly's work as the color commentator on last night's game. We tended to agree. Kelly isn't polished. He doesn't quite have a sense of timing yet in a lot of cases. But he obviously knows a ton about baseball and will jump in with some pretty funny comments as well from time to time.
His habit of calling Dick Bremer "Richard" and A.J. Pierzynski "Anthony" never failed to make us laugh last night. The "diamond cutters" routine on base hits up the middle even worked.
In short, our question: Does TK have a future in the booth, or was he simply a nice change of pace?
