Commenter Stu is here to use math and science to help determine which team you should be pulling for Sunday in the NFC title game. Stu? -------------------------

FACT: It's tough to pick a team to pull for in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

FACT: Green Bay fans are awful to deal with.

FACT: Chicago fans might actually be worse.

FACT: Green Bay fans are particularly haughty right now. Not without reason, but still, [redacted] them.

FACT: Chicago fans seem to realize they've had some excellent fortune to be in the position to host the NFC Championship game. Considering they're maybe the 7th or 8th best team in the conference, this seems wise. Regardless, [redacted] them, too. Doubly so.

FACT: Two weeks of Super Bowl hype about Clay Matthews and his filthy, Molly Hatchet-roadie hair will be punishing.

FACT: Two weeks of Super Bowl hype about how nobody likes Jay Cutler will be aggravating.

FACT: Green Bay is better than Chicago, just as they were better than New York in their last championship game appearance.

FACT: Chicago will lose to either Pittsburgh or the Jets, and the Super Bowl itself would be boring.

FACT: Green Bay could beat either Pittsburgh or the Jets, and the Super Bowl itself, while likely entertaining, may result in an unconscionable, heinous act on American soil: another Packers Super Bowl title.

FACT: Given all these factors, I will be rooting for the Bears and their lousy turf and their soft schedule and their third-down running back who picks up blitzes and their churlish QB on Sunday. I won't like myself for doing it, but the other option? I can't do it, and neither can you.
