It hardly seems possible, but your plucky little Timberwolves are creating a certain amount of buzz lately. The Kevin Love 31-31 game, plus Michael Beasley's decision to permanently play on BEAST mode in recent games, have made the Wolves the trendiest 4-9 team around. Tonight, they are at home against the defending champion Lakers. The game is expected to draw a big crowd -- possibly even a sellout. Those who don't want to venture down to the monument to 1980s design (Target Center) can watch on TV at 7 p.m..

HOWEVER

The Wolves face some stiff competition tonight from the Gophers men's basketball team. Not only is the squad undefeated, but it is playing No. 8-ranked North Carolina. If you have ESPNU (which a lot of folks have these days, we're told), you can watch at 7:30 p.m.

BUT

Before any of that happens, the Wild's game against Detroit starts at 6:30 p.m. tonight (also televised). The local NHL squad has been better than advertised so far this season -- enough to be intriguing, at the very least.

SO

Which of these three teams has your interest piqued the most at this point? And what is your viewing strategy tonight, should you find yourself with all three channels and a few free hours on the couch?
