It’s official: Rebekah Dahlman is once again the all-time career scoring leader in Minnesota high school girls’ basketball.

The Minnesota State High School League confirmed Wednesday that Dahlman, and not Carlie Wagner, is the state record-holder with 5,060 points. The league had recognized Dahlman, who played six years for Braham, in 2013 when she broke the mark set by Tayler Hill of Minneapolis South in 2009. But it held off making it official until it recently received statistics to verify her totals.

Before receiving those records, the league acknowledged Wagner as the record-holder last month during the girls’ basketball state tournament, after a semifinal game in which she surpassed Hill’s mark. Wagner, who played for New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, finished her career with 3,957 points.

The league said such records are considered unofficial until statistics backing them are submitted.
