The Minnesota Swarm got revenge Friday over Toronto at the Xcel Energy Center, beating the Rock 13-12 in overtime before an announced crowd of 7,722.
In their first National Lacrosse League meeting this season, Toronto (5-2) won by the same score at its arena.
Tyler Hass, a 6-6 transition player from Victoria, British Columbia, got the game-winning goal for the Swarm (2-3). It came on his third goal of the game; he also scored the Swarm's first two goals.
"Tonight was huge," Hass said. "Teams have been adapting to us this year. I've found they're sending two, three guys back and we got what we wanted tonight."
Goalie Tyler Carlson of the Swarm also played well, making 35 saves.
