Starting next week you'll be able to search for rental houses and apartments on the NorthstarMLS, the database that most of the state's Realtors use to list and search for houses. The rentals, which will be searchable just like houses for sale, will include houses and apartments, but it's going to be up to the individual brokerages to decide whether they want to post those listings.
This is all a sign of how demand for rental housing has grown as the for-sale market has slowed.
Did you decide to rent your house rather than sell it? Or rent rather than buy? Or are you an agent who is seeing more rental listings than for-sale listings? Share your perspective
