Sarah Palin and U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., are planning a big-time Minnesota rally next month.

On Monday, the Minnesota Republican party announced a Minneapolis Convention Center rally featuring the Republican Party stars.

Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Tony Sutton and Deputy Chairman Michael Brodkorb today announced that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will appear at an April 7, 2010 rally with Representative Michele Bachmann at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The rally will be free and open to the public. Details on how to obtain tickets will be forthcoming from the Republican Party of Minnesota.

"The Republican Party of Minnesota is thrilled to be hosting this one of a kind rally with Governor Sarah Palin and Representative Michele Bachmann. Governor Palin and Representative Bachmann are two of the most dynamic and impressive conservative leaders in the nation. This exciting event will be a great way for Minnesotans to get involved in what promises to be a terrific year for Republicans," said Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Tony Sutton.

Both women have proved big draws in Minnesota before, turning out thousands of devoted fans.

The rally comes in a month of several of big name GOP visits to Minnesota.

On April 9, former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney will be in the state for a book tour and Freedom Foundation event and on April 26, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will appear at a Minnesota Family Council event.
