Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier interviewed for the Buffalo Bills head coaching job in the Twin Cities on Thursday. Friday, he became a candidate for another opening.

According to ESPN, the Seattle Seahawks fired coach Jim Mora and have asked the Vikings' permission to speak to Frazier about the position. Seattle finished 5-11 this season, including a loss at the Metrodome.

This would be the seventh team for which Frazier has been a coaching candidate over the past three years. He was a candidate in Atlanta and Miami two years ago and Denver, Detroit and St. Louis last offseason.

The Bills were able to speak to Frazier this week because the Vikings have a bye before playing host to a divisional round game on Jan. 17.

UPDATE: ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that Southern Cal coach Pete Carroll is the leading candidate for the Seahawks job and that Frazier has turned down the opportunity to interview for the Seahawks job.
