Blake's Charlie Adams repeated as the Class 1A boys' tennis individual champion Friday at Reed-Sweatt Tennis Center in south Minneapolis. Adams defeated Ty Misialek of East Grand Forks 6-1, 6-0.
Adams reached the finals by defeating Mound Westonka's Luke Moorhead earlier Friday in the semifinals. Misialek defeated Mound Westonka's Arend Turner to make the finals.
Check back later for results of the Class 2A tournament at Baseline Tennis Center at the University of Minnesota. Nick Beaty of Wayzata and Dusty Boyer of Forest Lake are playing in the Class 2A championship singles match.
