At the "J" nobody cares if you're fat or thin, old or young, muscle man or noodle-arms. In fact they don't even care if you fancy skipping the workout altogether and choose to lounge around in the hot tub instead; this really is a gym where every body fits in. If you want to get serious, they have personal trainers, specialized classes (many of them free to members) and a team of massage specialists to work out the kinks. The "J" stands for "Jewish" but they're completely relaxed about that, too. It's a "community" center in the true sense of the word. 1375 St. Paul Av., St. Paul; 651-698-0751; stpauljcc.org
