MnDOT crews need to collect soil samples along I-35W in Minneapolis, and they will do that during the overnight hours this week.
From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday, the left lane will be closed from 25th Street and 32nd Street.
Two lanes will remain open, but motorists are asked to slow down in the work zone.
Over in St. Paul, the ramp from northbound 35E ramp to eastbound I-94 will be closed from 7 p.m.to 5 a.m. each night Monday night through Friday morning. The ramp will be open from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The closure is necessary as crews remove flower planters along I-94 between Wabasha Street and Jackson Street in St. Paul.
