The Gophers got a nod from 6-8 small forward Paul White on Monday when he narrowed his list to five, including Minnesota.

According to Chicagohoops.com, White has set up visits at all five, including Minnesota on Oct. 4-6.

- Terry Larrier has cut his list to five schools, and the Gophers aren't one of them according to Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog.com. The 6-8 wing's AAU coach -- Team Scan's Terrance Williams -- told SNY.tv that he has narrowed the schools he is interested in to six: UConn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, VCU and Seton Hall. Larrier eliminated Minnesota, along with Penn State, Marquette and St. John's.
