Back in 1996, Reese Witherspoon and Mark Wahlberg were not exactly marquee names, but they managed to shine in “Fear” (7:20 p.m., Encore Action), a stalker scarer in which Marky Mark says things a lot more menacing than “say hello to your moth-uh.” William Petersen and Alyssa Milano co-star.

No second chances

New judges Heidi Klum and Mel B. discover whether or not they’ll melt under the hot lights in their first live episode of “America’s Got Talent” (8 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11). Howard Stern was relatively tame last year, but with Stern you never know what might happen.

Blast from the past

To kick off the fourth season of “Who Do You Think You Are?” (8 p.m., TLC), Kelly Clarkson unlocks her past and discovers she’s related to a famous war hero. In related news, Justin Guarini reveals that one of his ancestors used to clean up Paul Revere’s stable.
