Democrats call Kline, Paulsen 'persuadable' in immigration standoff

The list was put out Friday in a memo to the Democratic caucus from Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chairman Steve Israel.
“…We've identified 23 Republican colleagues in districts where constituents will demand progress on immigration, and where those pressures could persuade our Republican colleagues to support true comprehensive immigration reform,” the memo says.
The DCCC’s analysis comes as immigration hardliners in the GOP-led House have said they will not vote for a bill like the Senate’s that includes a path to citizenship for people living illegally in the U.S.
Spokesmen for Kline and Paulsen did not respond to requests for comment.
