The mini-golf course, which opens this weekend, is the outdoor centerpiece of this year's Walker's summer program. Highlights include:

Rock the Garden: Headlined by the Canadian quartet Metric, this sold-out event also features the Silversun Pickups, Bob Mould, Low and Dan Deacon. (3-10:30 p.m. June 15)

Foraging Circle: Through October, artist Fritz Haeg will stage garden-themed workshops, conversations and events about food production and urban farming in a geodesic dome in the sculpture garden. His exhibition "Domestic Integrities A05" will run indoors at the Walker Aug. 8-Nov. 24.

Dog House Food Truck: Will sell hot dogs, gelato pops and Summit beer daily at the garden. (11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun.-Wed.; 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Thu.-Sat.)

First Free Saturdays: Outdoor fun including Foraging Circle events (June 1), Urban Green environmental activities (July 6), Grassroots performances and crafts (August 3), and From the Garden With Love, a birthday party and harvest fest (Sept. 7). (All events 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

Summer Music and Movies: Local bands kick off movie screenings in the popular Loring Park series. (July 29, Aug. 5, 12, 19)
