Assault. An 18-year-old man was cited for assault and underage consumption of alcohol on the 7900 block of Market Boulevard. Another 18-year-old man also was cited for underage consumption.
WEEK OF FEB. 18TH
Suspicious activity. A homeowner reported to police that there were foot tracks in the snow on their deck and the outside motion light was on. Officers arrived and informed the homeowner the tracks in the snow were from a rabbit.
Theft. A person reported that a ring had been stolen from their home on the 7800 block of Maple Hill Road. When asked to describe the ring, the person went to their jewelry box to find something similar to describe the missing ring. The ring thought to be missing was found inside the jewelry box. There had been no theft.
Theft. A 48-year-old Eden Prairie woman was arrested for shoplifting more than $800 in clothing from Macy’s at Southdale.
Drunken driving. A 32-year-old Eden Prairie man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on the 6300 block of Tracy Avenue.
Property damage. Three 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy were cited for property damage and fleeing police on the 5900 block of Hansen Road.
Assault. Officers responded to LA Fitness, 1701 Hwy. 7, regarding a fight. Two men had gotten into an argument on the basketball court. A 27-year-old St. Louis Park man was arrested for assault after he allegedly punched and bit a teammate.
Theft. A 48-year-old Elk River man was arrested for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 9451 Dunkirk Lane N.
Animal complaint. Officers corralled cows that were loose on Farmhill Drive.
Theft. Rims and tires were stolen from the yard of a home along Hwy. 7.
Animal complaint. A person walking along the Luce Line trail reported seeing coyotes.
Assault. A 14-year-old girl was arrested for assault on the 2200 block of Shenandoah Lane N.
Arson. A 41-year-old St. Paul woman was arrested for arson and assault at a home on the 6900 block of Cedar Avenue S. She allegedly threatened to kill a man and put a lit cigarette in the gas tank of his vehicle.
Assault. A 46-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for assault after allegedly stabbing a man in the neck in the area of 66th Street and Nicollet Avenue S. Officers set up a perimeter with a K-9 and located the suspect hiding between cars three blocks away.
Drunken driving. An 18-year-old Mound woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was stopped for an equipment violation on Apple Road and Mill Street. The passenger, a 19-year-old Mound woman, was cited for underage consumption.
Suspicious vehicle. Officers located two teens parked in a vehicle at 2:48 a.m. They were advised to go home.
