Today's workout will be a short one, as the Twins will hold review sessions on the things they've worked on over the previous nine days. There will be two rounds of batting practice, not three, so they could be done about an hour earlier than usual. If you are in town and are thinking about coming over, consider yourselves warned.

Anthony Swarzak (cracked ribs) said he's still about a week or so away from getting on a mound, but he's made a lot of progress and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. He'll be several weeks behind most of the other pitchers in camp. Not just the the weeks here, but the month or so before camp opened when pitchers start loosening up their arms. Swarzak has lost all of that development time.

THE LINE

Vegas is not a fan of the Twins. One sports book has their over/under for wins at 64.5. Ouch.

TIGERS ARE SET

Longtime Detroit seamhead John Lowe reports that Tigers manager Jim Leyland already has named his Opening Day starting lineup - provided the Twins start a righthander on Apr. 1 at Target Field.

Austin Jackson, CF
Torii Hunter, RF
Miggy, 3B
Prince Fielder, 1B
Victor Martinez, DH
Andy Dirks, LF
Jhonny Peralta, SS
Alex Avila, C
Omar Infante, 2B

Justin Verlander, RHP

Wow. And the Twins still aren't sure who will start at four positions.
