- February 1, 2013 - 8:22 PM
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard has taken home the Pudding Pot after being honored as Woman of the Year by Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals.
Cotillard smiled, waved and caught a teddy bear from the crowd during a Harvard Square parade filled with drag queens, Ivy League cheerleaders and a brass band.
The procession was followed by a roast of the 37-year-old French actress at Hasty Pudding headquarters during which Cotillard sang "Je Ne Regrette Rien" (I Regret Nothing) from "La Vie En Rose." Cotillard won a best actress Oscar for her portrayal of French singer Edith Piaf in that 2007 film.
Cotillard has appeared more recently in "Inception" and "The Dark Knight Rises."

Two Australian disc jockeys who called a London hospital impersonating members of the royal family as a hoax three days before a nurse's suicide will not face any charges, British prosecutors said on Friday. Prosecutors said there were no grounds for charges of manslaughter against Mel Greig and Michael Christian in the death of nurse Jacintha Saldanha, who was found hanged Dec. 7. Greig and Christian phoned the King Edward VII hospital on Dec. 4 asking about the pregnant Kate, the duchess of Cambridge and Prince William's wife. Saldanha initially took the call and then patched it through to a colleague, who provided information about Kate's condition to the disc jockeys. Greig and Christian had posed as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. Saldanha's death provoked grief-stricken reactions from her family and hospital staff as well as tearful apologies from the DJs.
No jail time: Randy Travis avoided jail time by pleading guilty to a charge that could have meant two years in confinement and a $4,000 fine. Travis pleaded guilty to a driving while intoxicated charge in Grayson County, Texas. He will be on probation for two years, was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and participate in an in-patient treatment program and was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service. Travis also was ordered to have an ignition interlock device placed on any vehicle he drives during his probation. The country singer was naked when he was arrested Aug. 7 after a single-vehicle crash near Tioga, a city about 65 miles north of Fort Worth.
