ST. CLOUD, Minn. - St. Cloud police are stepping up enforcement this weekend β€” after learning of an event called "St. Cloud: The Takeover" on social media.

Police Chief Blair Anderson says event promoters have advertised the concert as an 18-plus event, and they are arranging buses to bring concertgoers from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

Anderson says he'll welcome visitors if they behave themselves, but authorities will have a zero tolerance policy for those who engage in criminal activity. He tells The Associated Press he is taking his cues from Minneapolis, which has seen its share of challenges at similar events.

The St. Cloud Times reports the concert is Friday night at RumRunners Bar, and features some rap artists. Police patrols in St. Cloud will be stepped up Friday and Saturday.
