Congestion is dissipating on most roads as accidents have cleared and traffic has lightened.
But there are a few pockets of heavy traffic, including on eastbound 494 from Hwy. 212 to Hwy. 100. A tow truck is towing away the remains of a crash at West Bush Lake Road.
The drive on westbound 94 from 694 to downtown St. Paul is easing. A little slow traffic remains from Hwy. 61 to Kellogg Blvd.
Westbound Crosstown is tight from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 169. Plan on about 12 minutes there.
Southbound 35W is moving much better after a rash of crashes plugged things up earlier this morning. The heaviest traffic is between County Road E2 to Hwy. 280. A new crash has just popped up at County Road 88.
Northbound Hiawatha Avenue has its share of traffic. Look for the worst between Lake Street and downtown Minneapolis.
