It might be the combination of patchy fog and a few flurries that causing stop-and-go conditions on eastbound Hwy. 212 from Hwy. 101 to 494. That trip is taking up to 30 minutes.
The other troublespots are in the east metro.
A wreck blocking the left lane on westbound Hwy. 36 at Western Avenue has traffic slow from Hwy. 61. It's a 17-minute drive from Hwy. 61 to Hwy. 280.
Not much movement on southbound 35E due to two stalls, one at Hwy. 36 and another at Larpenteur. Plan on 25 minutes from County 96 to downtown St. Paul.
Drivers on westbound 494 will find a wreck at Concord Street. A sizeable delay has developed. Look for brake lights beginning at Bailey Road.
There also is a crash on northbound 61 at 494 in Newport.
