Prosecco has caught on big in recent years, but it's far from Italy's only bubble-laden wine. From the hills near Verona (and for that matter, near the Prosecco region) comes the Lessini Durello I Prandi Extra Dry ($15), a slightly sweet sparkler with a lush mouthfeel and nice green-apple and spice notes. Made mostly with the durello grape (plus 15 percent chardonnay), it's an ideal aperitif and would work nicely with fried or salty foods. Available at 1st Grand, BrightWines and Thomas Liquors.
