Turns out Anthony Bourdain can cook outside of the kitchen. The noted chef helped develop the story line for the Season 3 premiere of "Treme" (9 p.m., HBO), a New Orleans delicacy seasoned with great live music. The Neville Brothers, Fats Domino and Marcia Ball all contribute to this latest season.Monday
Reality-show viewers will be torn between the two-step and the trill as "Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars" (7 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5) premieres against "The Voice" (7 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11). A lineup that includes the return of Pamela Anderson and Bristol Palin is tempting, but don't underestimate the appeal of those blind singing audition episodes.Tuesday
There's a lot riding on Zooey Deschanel's adorkable shoulders. Her hit sitcom, "New Girl" (7 & 8 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9), returns with two strategically placed episodes that aim to benefit the debut of "Ben and Kate" (7:30 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9) and "The Mindy Project" (8:30 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9). Both newbies have their moments, but if I had to pick one to root for it would be "Mindy."Wednesday
It took four years, but it seems like comedians are finally figuring out ways to poke fun at President Obama. Jay Pharoah has been impressive as the new Obama on "Saturday Night Live," and then there's "Key & Peele" (9:30 p.m., Comedy Central), who effectively send up Obama's anger management in their often hilarious sketch show that returns for its second season.Thursday
In space, no one can hear you scream -- unless the astronaut is Wolowitz in the sixth-season premiere of "The Big Bang Theory" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4). Even though he's in a shuttle, our hapless hero gets stuck in an argument between wife Bernadette and not-so-dear Mom. Back on Earth: What will be the fallout between Leonard and Penny after he blurted out a marriage proposal?
