We awoke Sunday morning to the news of yet another slaughter of civilians in Iraq. As an American, it is very hard for me to accept that, due to the lies of the Bush/Cheney administration, we have been at war in some fashion or another for more than a decade. We have truly set the Middle East on fire. With the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy today, I must raise my voice -- along with millions of other Americans -- to demand a true and independent investigation of that day. A day we lost not only 3,000 Americans but, I think, our soul.
