For real.To celebrate the release of their return-to-garage-rock roots, the Foo Fighters will play garage concerts in eight cities, including the Twin Cities on April 20.Fans who want a shot at being the host garage can enter by writing, in 25 words or less, why they want the Foo Fighters to rock their garage – along with a photo of their garage. The winner will get to invite 50 friends and then 93X radio will sponsor a contest for additional concertgoers.The entries will be judged on appropriateness, enthusiasm and creativity. The garages must be in Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Goodhue, Ramsey, Rice, Scott, Sherburne, Washington or Wright county., according to the official rules. For some reason (maybe an oversight), Hennepin is not mentioned. Other cities on this April garage tour are New York, Washington D.C., Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Dallas and Seattle.Foo Fighters are undertaking this tour to promote their eighth album, "Wasting Light," which was recorded in frontman Dave Grohl's garage in suburban Los Angeles.
