Sen. Tarryl Clark, one of the leaders of Clinton's Minnesota campaign, said Clinton's campaign stop is likely to inspire supporters to attend Tuesday's caucuses.
"We know that Tuesday its all about who shows up at caucuses. It's important that people get a chance to meet her," she said. "It gives them a chance to see the person that they have been most interested in. It gives them a chance to see her up close and personal and gives them a chance to hear what she has to say."
With Democratic challenger Barack Obama attracting an estimated 20,000 to the Target Center on Saturday, Clinton supporters were dismissive of trying to match Obama's expected crowd.
"It's not a competition," Clark said.
