New Kelliher ad hits "no stone unturned" theme

With less than two weeks to go until the August primary, DFL candidate for governor Margaret Anderson Kelliher released a new campaign ad that's light on specifics but heavy with rocks.

The ad picks up Kelliher's campaign theme -- that she'll "leave no stone unturned" to find jobs and solutions to the state's problems. She's also named her campaign tour, "No Stone Unturned."

Kelliher's two DFL primary rivals, Mark Dayton and Matt Entenza, also released campaign ads this week. Both have spent far more money on campaign ads than Kelliher has and have been able to touch on more issues. The ad seems to pick up on two issues that Entenza has concentrated on during his campaign -- green jobs and revamping the curricula taught in schools.

Here's the Kelliher ad:

The transcript:

I’m Margaret Anderson Kelliher, and as governor I’ll look at every solution to create good paying jobs. And no idea will be too big or too small. Like more loans for small businesses to help them hire new workers…focus on math and science in our schools…and make clean energy jobs a reality.

Because when it comes to finding a brighter future for Minnesota...We’ll leave no stone unturned.
