Pawlenty: Felons 'may have flipped the election'

Gov. Tim Pawlenty said on Fox News today that felon voter fraud “may have flipped the election” between Sen. Al Franken and Norm Coleman that was decided by 312 votes in 2008.
Pawlenty appeared on “Fox and Friends” to discuss an op-ed he wrote in Politico, and he was asked about a report from conservative group Minnesota Majority that found several hundred convicted felons may have voted illegally in Minneapolis and St. Paul in the 2008 election.
“They seem to have found credible evidence that many felons who are not supposed to be voting actually voted in the Franken-Coleman election,” Pawlenty said.
He continued: “I suspect they favored Al Franken. I don’t know that, but if that turned out to be true, they may have flipped the election.”
