Gov. Tim Pawlenty's peripatetic schedule as a presumptive presidential candidate hasn't gone over particularly well with Minnesotans -- most of whom say they wouldn't vote for him if he, indeed, runs in 2012.
A new poll conducted by Minnesota Public Radio and the University of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute found that 54 percent of the state's likely voters don't approve of Pawlenty's repeated recent campaign swings to other states, particularly those that will hold early presidential contests in two years.
If Pawlenty (who hasn't said whether he's actually running) mounts a campaign, 53 percent said they're unlikely to vote for him. And even his base isn't all that energized: 23 percent of Republicans said they wouldn't vote for him.
Details of the poll can be read here.
