Sommers, Donald J. Age 81, of Crystal, passed away February 15th, 2007. Survived by loving wife of 6 ½ yrs, Kay; Kay's extended family; children, Steven, Gregory, Eileen, and Paul; grandchildren, Jessi (Ahmed), James, Cassandra; great- grandchild, AbduRahman; mother of his children, Agatha; and sister, Janet (Mike), as well as many friends. Donald worked over 45 yrs as a salesman for Westinghouse. Donald served as president of ULLR Foundation for many years. He was an avid skier and bicyclist, as well has being a charitable person in the community. He loved to sing in the North Suburban Chorus and with his wife. Memorial service will held at 3 pm, Tuesday, at the Basilica of St. Mary, 16th and Hennepin Ave. S. with visitation 1 hour prior at church. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
