Candell (Soderlund) NOTE SERVICE DATE Nancy Ann Candell, 63, of Eau Claire, WI died peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2003 at her home. She was born on October 1, 1939 to Donald & Josephine (Kriebs) Soderlund in Brainerd, MN. Nancy graduated from Mound High School in 1957 and attended St. Cloud State University. Nancy and her family moved to Eau Claire in 1976 where she spent many hours volunteering, gardening, and helping others. She is survived by her husband, Stephen; two daughters, Ann (Bob) Sessions of Eau Claire and Wendy of Madison; grandsons, Joshua Lewellen, Tyler and Cody Sessions; mother, Jo Soderlund of Mound; brother, John (Kim) Soderlund of Mpls; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Soderlund. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Thursday, September 18, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Eau Claire, WI, with Rev. Edmund Kimek officiating. Private inurnment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Eau Claire. Relatives and friends may call from 5-8 PM TONIGHT, Sept. 17 at the Golden Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave, where there will be a 7 PM prayer vigil, and Thursday one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to that of the donor's choice. Golden Funeral Home, Eau Clair, is assisting the family with arrangements.
