Claeson, John Louis of Farmington, age 48, died peacefully on June 22nd, 2015, with his wife of 25 years, Cindy, by his side. John had bravely battled brain cancer for seven and a half years. John is also survived by sons Scott, Chris, David, and Tommy; parents Louis and Lois Claeson; and sister, Karin. Other survivors include his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marian and Perry Galvin; cousins Tom (Nicole) Claeson, Anne Claeson, Mary (Joe) Cunningham, Frank (Jeannine) Pafko, Lori (John) Lindell, Bill and Bob Hybben; aunts Evelyn Clarey and Lois (Marv) Stehr, as well as many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. A devout Catholic, John was St. Michael Council 12617 Knight's of Columbus Sioux Falls Knight of the Year in 2001 and recently completed the two year program "Pillars, a Journey through the Catechism" of which he was very proud. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am Thursday, June 25th at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville, with visitation at 10:00 am prior to the service.
