Don Norman Jarnes

Jarnes, Don Norman age 77, of Orono, passed away suddenly of a heart attack in his home on May 29, 2015. Survived by his wife, Glee, of 55 years; daughters Gayle (Matt) Dalbec, Jeanine Utz, (fiance Chet Whitley), Laura (Don) Noble, granddaughters Janie Dalbec and Josephine Utz, siblings Janet Camp and Jim James and many dear friends and family. Don grew up in Wayzata, MN. He loved the Wayzata area where he was a homebuilder and owned a masonry business. The passion of his life was the Gospel of Jesus Christ and salvation through faith alone. Visitation (TODAY) Tues., June 2, 5-8 PM at Rettinger Funeral Home, 425 Lake St., Long Lake, MN, and 1 hour prior to service at Church. Funeral service Wed., June 3 at 3PM, at the Westview Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4151 Leslee Curve (at Hwy 7) Excelsior, MN. Memorials will be directed by the family.
