Sienko, Michael J. 47, of Duluth, died suddenly, while playing his favorite game, hockey. He was born December 22, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN to Stanley and Agnes "Babe" (O'Neil) Sienko. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He was self-employed in Transportation Logistics. He married Rebecca Fischer in 1982 in St. Paul, MN. Michael was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary. He was an avid hockey player, skier, and loved to fish. Mike had a great gusto for life and lived every moment to the fullest. His family meant everything to him. He was a fantastic son, husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Becky; son, Ryan of Pittsburg, PA; daughters, Laura Sienko, Meghan Sienko, Amy Sienko, all of Duluth; brother, Patrick (Lorrie) of Mendota Heights, MN; sisters, Sheila (David) Bruce of Burnsville, MN, Colleen (Matt) Urness of Oakdale, MN; father-in-law, James Fischer; mother-in-law, Irene (Ernst) Fischer; and many relatives & friends. Mass of Christian Burial 12 Noon Saturday in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary in Duluth. Visitation is 5-7 PM Friday with wake service at 6:30 PM in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary.
