Evelyn L. '(Klancke)' Tester

Tester, Evelyn L. (Klancke) age 98 of New Hope, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2015. Funeral Service Sat-urday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at Golden Valley Lutheran Church (5501 Glenwood Ave.), Golden Valley; visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Luncheon to follow. After lunch, there will be a graveside service at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Waconia, MN. She enjoyed friends, volunteering, playing cards, sewing, cooking, canning, fishing, various church activities, entertaining, and playing bridge. She excelled at bowling and loved spending time with family at the cabin. She loved baseball, including the Little League years, and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan for over 60 years. She and Elmer enjoyed traveling, in the US and abroad. Preceded in death by her parents William and Emma Klancke, her husband of 60 years, Elmer R. Tester, sisters Malinda Oelfke, Valeria Wroge and brother Lowell Klancke. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Richard and Rita Tester, Warren and Nancy Tester, Carol Tester and Ken Schwinghammer, Marlys and Ron Hooper and Laurel Tester; grandsons: Jeff and Logan Schwinghammer, Matthew and Brett Tester, Macalaster Hooper and Alex Tester.
