Lundquist, Margaret J. age 92, of Paynesville, formerly of St. Louis Park, died Monday, February 23, 2015 at Koronis Manor in Paynesville. Her funeral will be 11:00 am, Thursday, February 26th at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church with burial in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville. hafh.org Margaret was born on August 2, 1922, in Atwater, Minnesota, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Ziehl) Johnson. She grew up in the New London area where she attended her schooling. Following her schooling, she was united in marriage to Roger Lundquist. They lived in Grove City while Roger was the Superintendent, later moving to Moorhead before settling in St. Louis Park, where Roger was an Assistant Principal in the St. Louis Park Schools. Roger preceded her in death in 1958. Margaret continued to live in St. Louis Park where she volunteered at Mount Olivet, later joining the staff as a receptionist and also worked as a teacher's aide for St. Louis Park Schools. During her retirement, she enjoyed their cabin on Lake Koronis and spent winters in Clearwater, Florida, for 20 plus years. Surviving are her son, John Lundquist of Watertown, MN; two grandchildren, Jeff (and Tamra) Lundquist and Lori Korby and two great grandchildren, Mason Lundquist and Jesse Korby; and her sister, Maxine Meyers of Redwood Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roger; son, Paul; sisters, Lucille Seastad and Deloris Martin and a brother in infancy.
