Anastasia 'Stacia' Groat

Groat, Anastasia "Stacia" Age 90, of Springbrook, WI, passed away January 13, 2015. Born November 7, 1924 in Minneapolis, MN. Stacia and her late husband, Clyde, worked at Sperry Corporation of St. Paul in the 70's and 80's when labor issues were contested and debated. Stacia was articulate and respected by both management and fellow workers thus placing her in a leadership role in union contract negotiations. Stacia and Clyde were avid fishermen, focusing their passion for the outdoors on lakes in Hayward, WI, Lake of the Woods, MN, and Lake Okeechobee, FL. A lover of all music, Stacia enjoyed listening to "Live with Clyde" at the many local places where he was invited to play his accordion. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, February 15 after regular Church services at the NAMEKAGON CONGRESSIONAL CHURCH, W4446 Friday St., Earl, WI (AKA Springbrook, WI) 54875.
