DeNucci, Fred Robert age 88, of Richfield, MN and Sun City West, AZ, passed away peacefully on December 19 with all of his family at his side. Loving husband for 66 years to Mary Ellen DeNucci and devoted father to Larry (Virgie) Patrick (Judy), Mark (Terry), Paul (Patti), Steve (Doni), and Mary. Fred was born in 1926 in Cumberland, WI to Joseph and Euphemia DeNucci. He and Mary Ellen graduated from Cumberland HS in 1944. Fred is survived by brother, Joe (Irene), and sister, Lucille Nelli, and preceded in death by brother, Leonard (deceased in The Battle of The Bulge), sister, Mayme (Roland) Ricci, and brother- in-law, Nilo Nelli. Fred served as an Army Master Sgt in WWII in Okinawa and Korea and enjoyed a 42 year career at Minnegasco as an Internal Auditor and Systems Analyst. He was so proud of his involvement at St. Peter's Church, and the Richfield community, coaching his children in basketball, baseball and softball for many years. He is survived by his 6 children and 12 grandchildren: Anne (Josh) Lushine, Katherine (Karl) Stuemke, Kristina DeNucci, Margaret (Jaime) Sibri, Nick and Kyle DeNucci, Andrea, Dan and Gina DeNucci, Devin and Aaron DeNucci, and Ryan DeNucci. Fred and Mary Ellen also have 4 great grandchildren: Freddy Lushine, Hank, Lou, and Walter Stuemke. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 6730 Nicollet Ave So, Richfield, MN 55423. Visitation Monday 4-7 PM, at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5811 Lyndale Ave So, Minneapolis, MN 55419, 612-861-6088. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St Peters Church. A special thank you to all the caregivers at N.C. Little Memorial Hospice. We will always remember our dear dad.
