Krueger, Rev. John Alan age 83, of Mpls., died Nov. 17, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma; sisters, Rosalie and Betty Lou. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend. John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Daphne (Hesse); 6 children, Deborah, David, Luther (Johanna), Naomi, Stephen and Mark; sister, Ruth Turpin; and many friends in Christ at Heritage Lutheran Church. John was born in a log cabin 1931 and grew up in his parents fruit farm near Bayfield, WI. After his graduation from Concordia College in St. Paul, and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Pastor Krueger served congregations in Redfield and Vermillion, SD, Cooperstown, ND, Bowling Green, OH, Cottonwood, MN, Eau Claire, WI and Peidmont, MO. After his retirement he was an active member at Heritage Lutheran Church (ELS) in Apple Valley, MN and often served that congregation as a substitute pastor. Learning and teaching the word of God was his delight. Funeral services Monday, Nov. 24, 11:00 AM at Heritage Lutheran Church, 13401 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley.
