Amundson SERVICE TODAY Richard, 77, of Kenyon, died Sunday, Jan. 23 at Richfield Health Care Center in Richfield. Richard Duane Amundson was born Sept. 21, 1927 at Bricelyn, MN. He was a truck driver for Admiral Merchants in Mpls, as well as a landlord and property owner. He moved to Kenyon in 2000. He was a past Commander of VFW Post #1562 in Faribault and a member of the Eagle's Club. Survivors include three daughters, Teresa (Pat) Cochrane of Prior Lake, MN, Cindy (Paul) Marty of Kiev, Ukraine, and Denise (Kent) Hardy of Bloomington, MN; two sons, Todd of NC and Lyle of TN; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers. Funeral service Thurs., Jan. 27, 11 AM at the Hanson Funeral Home, Kenyon, MN. Interment services at Fort Snelling at 2:30 PM. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until time of service.
