Pfister, Dr. Glen Charles, M.D. age 57 of Orono, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014. He was born April 8, 1957 in Newcastle, Nebraska to Ralph and Anna Marie Pfister. Glen graduated from Newcastle Public School in 1975, attended the Univer-sity of Nebraska in Kearney, Nebraska and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS degree in Business Administration in 1981. Glen was employed by Merrill Lynch as a commodity broker from 1981-1983 and then was Vice President of Commodity Resource Corporation from 1983-1995. He attended the University of Minnesota from 1992-1996 studying pre-med. In 1998 he entered medical school and graduated with his MD in 2002. After his three-year residency program at the U of M he was employed by Buffalo Clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota from 2005 to present as a Pediatrician. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Robin; beloved sons, Alex Jay and Drew Alan; mother, Anna Marie Pfister; parents-in-law, Don and Donna Wallick; brothers, Paul (Renee) and Cy (MaryAnn); sister, Jean Whelchel (Kevin); brother-in-law, Deane (Dawn) Wallick and many nieces and nephews. His father, Ralph Pfister, preceded him in death. Glen enjoyed being a "clown" with the Zuhrah Shrine Funsters, and he was a past Master of the Wayzata Masonic Lodge. Glen was a loving husband, a wonderful father and a faithful friend who will be sorely missed. Funeral service 11 AM Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2060 County Road 6, Long Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Private interment.
