James Brian Kautz

Kautz, James Brian age 71 of Webster passed away on December 12. Born in Aberdeen, SD on July 8, 1946 to Murrell and Esther Kautz and grew up in South Mpls. Survived by brother Ronald (Jo) Kautz of Texas, sister Denise Baker (Bob Goodrich) of California, son Jon (Melanie) Kautz, daughter Carey (Brandon) Goedel, three much-loved grandsons Austin, Tyler, and Dylan Kautz, and friend and former wife Janet (Dombeck) Kautz. James was a member of the Scott County Sheriff Reserves where he proudly served his community at every opportunity. James' family was blessed with almost three months of bonus time with him, when he survived a massive heart attack on Sept 21. A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 21, 2017 at 11am. Visitation is at 10am. at Nokomis Park Chapel, 1838 E Minnehaha Pkwy, Mpls.
