Luke, Nancy Ann (Burnett) Age 85, of Wayzata, passed away Dec. 8, 2017 following a stroke. Preceded in death by her parents. Born in Minneapolis, she graduated from Northrop Collegiate School (now The Blake School) before earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Smith College. Following her marriage to Duane A. Luke in 1957, she helped him start Dana's Apparel and worked in the stores throughout the years. She enjoyed living on Lake Minnetonka's Crystal Bay, planting and sharing produce from a large vegetable garden; grouse hunting trips in the fall; and travel and winter vacations to Maui. Nancy was a vivacious woman who showed her love through cooking and enter-taining family and friends, inspiring a cookbook of family favorites. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Duane; daughters, Kim (David) Hakensen, Minnetonka, and Cindy (Paul) Dieter, Seattle; son, Jon (Kim) Luke, North Bend, Wash.; grandchildren Amalie Dieter, Ben and Caleb Luke; brother, Jim Burnett, Minneapolis, and many nieces and nephews.
